Campus Notification System Implemented
Community and technical colleges across the state have initiated an emergency alert notification system. Working with the Louisiana Board of Regents selected vendor, First Call Interactive Network, Region 2 has implemented the messaging system for campuses throughout our region. Upon activation of the First Call Notification system, participants will be notified by text, voice, and email messages. Students, faculty, and staff are able to register through the internet anytime, day or night, to receive notifications. Students,
Faculty and Staff are asked to go to the links below and register to be included in the alert system. You may register a new account or edit your account if already registered. Fill in the appropriate information as asked. If you wish to receive text messages via your cell phone enter the number under the SMS box. Once all information is entered, press the submit button and check your email for a Welcome Message from firstname.lastname@example.org, providing a temporary password. You may then log in and update your password or change your phone numbers and email addresses as needed.
